Benefits of Essential Amino Acids

Your body needs 20 different amino acids to grow and function properly. Although all 20 are important for your health, only nine amino acids are classified as essential. The reasoning behind this? Your body can’t produce them on its own, and they must be taken in via whole food or supplementation. The nine essential amino acids are histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Our EAA delivers a dose of all nine of these amino acids to fill this void and ensure maximum recovery and endurance is achieved.

Ingredients:

  • Isoleucine: one of the branched chain amino acids that is critical in physiological functions of the whole body such as growth, immunity, protein metabolism, fatty acid metabolism and glucose transpiration.
  • Valine: one of three branched-chain amino acids that supports enhanced energy, increased endurance and aids in muscle tissue recovery and repair.
  • Leucine: the amino acid that turns on protein synthesis to rebuild skeletal muscle tissue. Raw essential amino acids contains 3g of leucine per serving to help you maximize protein synthesis and build lean, dense muscle.
  • Phenylalanine: an amino acid called the 'building block' of protein.
  • Lysine: another 'building block' amino acid that supports proper growth and plays an essential role in the production of carnitine, the nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy.
  • Threonine: another protein 'building block' amino acid that helps support in the production of important proteins in the body.
